Floyd McCardell vs Bob Donaldson

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 26/08/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Floyd McCardell (10(5) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Bob Donaldson(3 - 2) from San Antonio, USA.  Both McCardell and Donaldson weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Arnie Sherriff, Mike Stobie and Cole Connolly.  

Round 1: 

McCardell closes the distance and is on target with a firm right hook.  McCardell clinches his opponent.  McCardell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCardell to stop fouling.  
Donaldson throws a right hook, but McCardell ties up his opponent.  McCardell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McCardell is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
McCardell closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McCardell is on target with a cross.  
McCardell gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
McCardell lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McCardell lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McCardell lands a stinging left hook.  
McCardell lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  McCardell clinches his opponent.  McCardell uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Donaldson's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCardell about fouling.

McCardell pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

McCardell walks Donaldson down, trapping him in a corner.  McCardell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a solid left uppercut into Donaldson's ribs.  
McCardell hits home with a right uppercut.  McCardell clinches his opponent.  Donaldson pushes his forearm into McCardell's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Donaldson.  
McCardell drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
McCardell lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
McCardell pivots to the left of his opponent.  McCardell connects with a right hook.  McCardell holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Donaldson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Donaldson's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
