Lewis Riggins vs John Tinlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Chicago Forester, Chicago,  taking place on 08/08/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Riggins (20 - 5) who hails from Chicago, USA and John Tinlin(8 - 20(3) - 4) from Chicago, USA.  Both Riggins and Tinlin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Protheroe, and the three ringside judges are Rob Dockter, Ewan Lockart and Lucas McGowan.  

Round 1: 

Tinlin waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Riggins lands a jab.

Riggins closes the distance and walks Tinlin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tinlin attempts to land a left hook, but Riggins blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Riggins lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Riggins is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Riggins clinches his opponent.  Tinlin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tinlin.
