Isidro Berrones vs Gig Barquero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Lorenzo Robles Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 17/08/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isidro Berrones (19(15) - 1(1)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Gig Barquero(1 - 13(1) - 1) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Berrones weighed in at 246 pounds and 3 ounces, while Barquero weighed in at 226 pounds and 1 ounces.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barquero's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Barquero's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Barquero's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Berrones ties up his opponent.  Barquero uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Berrones's kidney. 
Berrones DETONATES a WICKED left hook on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES BARQUERO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Berrones tries to step out of his opponents range.  Berrones sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Berrones lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING BARQUERO DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Barquero now seems to have got his legs back.

Berrones feints a jab, tricking Barquero into countering with a right hook.  Berrones springs the trap and counters with  a solid right hook to Barquero's ribcage.  
Barquero gets on the inside and forces Berrones to retreat onto the ropes.  Berrones connects with a right hook.  
Berrones tries to keep the action at long range and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.
