Felix Maragos vs Scott Leitch

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Top Academy promoted show at Melbourne Fedorovtsev, Melbourne,  taking place on 06/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felix Maragos (21(18) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Scott Leitch(0 - 6) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Maragos and Leitch weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Pac, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Lorimer, Nathan Savas and Arran Forbes.  

Round 1: 

Maragos pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Leitch advances into close range.  Maragos drives a sharp left hook into Leitch's body.  Maragos tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Maragos steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Leitch gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Maragos is on target with a right hook.  
Leitch advances into close range.  Maragos lands a left hook.  Maragos clinches his opponent.  Maragos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maragos to stop fouling.  
Maragos steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Maragos tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a WICKED cross.  LEITCH IS HURT!  Leitch recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maragos lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Maragos tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Maragos's ribs.  
Maragos switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Maragos lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Maragos switches the action to the outside and connects with a nasty cross.  LEITCH IS HURT!  Leitch recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maragos is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Leitch sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Maragos steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Leitch steps inside and walks Maragos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Maragos drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Leitch throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Leitch is looking to close the distance.  Maragos throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Maragos clinches his opponent.  Maragos tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leitch behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maragos about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leitch's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
