Jose Mancillas vs Roman Aragon

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicky Bonds promoted show at Teatro Caupolican, Santiago,  taking place on 14/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Chile-Santiago Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Mancillas (16(13) - 0) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Roman Aragon(17(4) - 7(4)) from La Florida, Chile.  Both Mancillas and Aragon weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Guerrero, and the three ringside judges are Diego Vidales, Hilario Britto and Santiago Banuelos.  

Round 1: 

Aragon feints a jab, tricking Mancillas into throwing a cross counter.  Aragon is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook to Mancillas's body.  
Mancillas gets on the inside.  Aragon tries to land a right hook, but Mancillas slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mancillas lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mancillas ties up his opponent.  Mancillas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mancillas.  
Aragon is on target with a jab.  
Mancillas is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Mancillas hits home with a right hook.  
Aragon snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Mancillas lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Aragon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Aragon lands with a stiff jab.  Aragon throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Mancillas advances into close range.  Mancillas pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to Aragon's ribs.

Aragon walks Mancillas down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mancillas connects with a cross.  
Aragon advances into close range.  Mancillas lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Aragon throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Aragon lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Aragon forces Mancillas to retreat onto the ropes.  Aragon tries to land a jab, but Mancillas slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Aragon hits home with a cross.  
Mancillas lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mancillas lands two right uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Mancillas could be enough to finish Aragon!  Mancillas lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND ARAGON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Aragon now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mancillas gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mancillas ties up his opponent.  Mancillas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mancillas gets on the inside.  Mancillas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Aragon quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mancillas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Aragon's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Aragon's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Aragon's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mancillas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Mancillas clinches his opponent.  Mancillas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
