Edmund Mewies vs John Thornquist

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at House of Blues, Boston,  taking place on 15/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Edmund Mewies (5 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and John Thornquist(3 - 1 - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Mewies weighed in at 108 pounds, while Thornquist weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Dave Greenan, Bilal Elbaz and Cole Connolly.
