Jack Wight vs Paul Burnett

Boxing Daily Report from the Dana White promoted show at Vancouver Stackpoole, Vancouver,  taking place on 22/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Wight (14 - 9 - 1) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Paul Burnett(12(1) - 2) from Surrey, Canada.  Wight weighed in at 134 pounds and 4 ounces, while Burnett weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Clelland, and the three ringside judges are Mike Messer, Connor Blakely and Noah Tedford.  

Round 1: 

Burnett lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Burnett steps inside.  Wight sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wight throws a left hook, but Burnett ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Burnett pushes his forearm into Wight's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Burnett.
