David Rodden vs David McClellan

Boxing Daily Report from the Steel City Boxing promoted show at Fitzgerald Field House, Pittsburgh,  taking place on 14/08/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Rodden (12(7) - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and David McClellan(19 - 12(7)) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Rodden weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces, while McClellan weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Alderdice, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kuntzman, John Beall and Richard Finnegan.  

Round 1: 

McClellan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McClellan dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McClellan.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Rodden hits home with a cross.  Rodden tries to land a cross, but McClellan parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McClellan advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
McClellan is looking to close the distance.  McClellan pivots to the side of his opponent.  McClellan throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Rodden steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Some sustained pressure from Rodden could be enough to finish McClellan!  Rodden lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MCCLELLAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  McClellan now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
McClellan gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
