Jin Kuan vs Gan Liu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Guangdong promoted show at Liko Pong Gym, Guangzhou,  taking place on 20/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Guangdong Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jin Kuan (12 - 10 - 1) who hails from Shantou, China and Gan Liu(6 - 6) from Guangzhou, China.  Both Kuan and Liu weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hsin Wing, and the three ringside judges are Chen Sing, Yao Tsui and Dewei Wang.  

Round 1: 

Kuan closes the distance.  Liu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Liu attempts to land a right hook, but Kuan parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuan steps inside.  Liu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Liu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kuan.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Liu attempts to land a jab, but Kuan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuan gets on the inside.  Liu pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
