Joaquin Alcoser vs Vicente Monico

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Valle del Cauca promoted show at Buenaventura Padua, Buenaventura,  taking place on 14/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Alcoser (21(1) - 8) who hails from Palmira, Colombia and Vicente Monico(9 - 12 - 1) from Palmira, Colombia.  Both Alcoser and Monico weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Pollino, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Bazan, Rodrigo Saez and Fraco Barcelona.  

Round 1: 

Alcoser is looking to close the distance.  Alcoser pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.
