Sam Watters vs Mike Gowen

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 07/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Watters (17 - 13(5) - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mike Gowen(13(1) - 7(1)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Watters weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces, while Gowen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Beynon, and the three ringside judges are Justin Kahukakanui, Justin Kahukakanui and Jonathan Teague.
