Chris Hewitson vs Dominic Ghant

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Hellenic Club, Canberra,  taking place on 15/07/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Hewitson (8(3) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Dominic Ghant(2 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Hewitson and Ghant weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hakopyan, and the three ringside judges are Callum Purcell, Noel Wilson and Charles Battaglia.  

Round 1: 

Hewitson gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.

Hewitson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Hewitson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hewitson manages to force Ghant into a neutral corner.  Hewitson lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hewitson is on target with a right hook to Ghant's body.  
Hewitson is on target with a solid left hook to Ghant's liver.  
Hewitson lands a stinging right uppercut.

Hewitson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Hewitson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Hewitson is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Hewitson lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hewitson is looking to close the distance.  Hewitson is on target with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ghant dabs at his face checking for damage.

Hewitson forces Ghant to back into the ropes.  Hewitson lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Hewitson pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Ghant's ribcage.  
Hewitson lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Hewitson hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hewitson advances into close range.  Ghant throws a right uppercut, but Hewitson holds on to his opponent.  Ghant leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
