Kian Ewing vs Richie Strother

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 08/07/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kian Ewing (17 - 12(1) - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Richie Strother(15 - 12(2) - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Ewing weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Strother weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Chisholm, Chris Heretini and Oliver Ngarongomate.
