Lewis Wons vs Louis Nicholson

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at The Vic Theater, Chicago,  taking place on 16/07/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Wons (14 - 27(1) - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and Louis Nicholson(20 - 17 - 3) from Chicago, USA.  Both Wons and Nicholson weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Ridall, and the three ringside judges are Dave Maddox, Jordan Protheroe and Ewan Lockart.  

Round 1:

Nicholson connects with a right hook.  As Wons tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Nicholson.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
