John MacConnell vs Lloyd Murdock

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at The Vic Theater, Chicago,  taking place on 16/07/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John MacConnell (20 - 15(2) - 5) who hails from Joliet, USA and Lloyd Murdock(22(1) - 8(1) - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both MacConnell and Murdock weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Protheroe, and the three ringside judges are Dave Maddox, David Ridall and Ewan Lockart.  

Round 1: 

Murdock lands a solid left uppercut.
