Joe Marn vs Dale Jerden

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at London Ice House, London,  taking place on 02/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joe Marn (14(8) - 2(1)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Dale Jerden(19 - 18(3) - 1) from Hamilton, Canada.  Marn weighed in at 111 pounds And 15 ounces, while Jerden weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Denton Cadden, Robert Dowe and Theo Hamill.  

Round 1: 

Marn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn steps to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Marn hits home with a stiff jab.  
Marn feints a right, and then lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jerden recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Marn steps inside and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Marn lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Marn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marn to stop fouling.  Jerden quickly recovers. 
Marn feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jerden is on target with a jab.  
Marn steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Marn drives a right uppercut into Jerden's ribs.  Marn clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marn gets on the inside.  Marn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jerden throws a right uppercut, but Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marn lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marn digs in a right hook to Jerden's body.  
Marn drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Marn is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marn advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Marn lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Marn dabs at his face checking for damage.  Marn has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Marn lands a sharp cross.  
Marn gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook to Jerden's liver.  
Marn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Jerden finds the target with a jab.  
Marn advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Marn ties up his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Marn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Marn closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn pushes his forearm into Jerden's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marn to stop fouling.  
Marn closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS JERDEN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Marn manouvers Jerden into the corner.  Marn DETONATES a mean right hook on his opponents face.  JERDEN IS HURT!  
Marn knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Marn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND JERDEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Marn!
