Ashley Peden vs Bob Cooney

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Ashley Vint Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 29/06/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Peden (15(14) - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Bob Cooney(1 - 4 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Peden and Cooney weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Malis, and the three ringside judges are John Inch, Matthew Curto and Michael Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Peden advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Peden holds on to his opponent.  Peden leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Peden throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Peden ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Peden pushes his forearm into Cooney's face.  The ref breaks Peden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peden is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS COONEY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Peden ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Peden pushes his forearm into Cooney's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peden.  Cooney almost instantly recovers. 
Peden walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Peden lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.
