Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 25/06/2034:

Clearly Konga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Shevon Akhasamba (3 - 0) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Callum Shikokoti(2 - 5 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Akhasamba and Shikokoti weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rex Odhieng, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Elliot Lumumba and Shaun Chelangat.  

Round 1: 

Shikokoti throws a right hook, but Akhasamba ties up his opponent.  Shikokoti leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Akhasamba pushes his forearm into Shikokoti's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Akhasamba voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Shikokoti tries to tag Akhasamba on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
