Taro Kodama vs Nao Kuramoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Sendai Tajima, Sendai,  taking place on 28/06/2034:

Clearly Nottinggham Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Miyagi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taro Kodama (13 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Nao Kuramoto(5 - 19(1) - 5) from Sendai, Japan.  Kodama weighed in at 126 pounds, while Kuramoto weighed in at 125 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Matsui, and the three ringside judges are Aoi Ozaki, Keiichi Sakai and Mitsuru Asano.  

Round 1: 

Kodama connects with a cross.  
Kodama steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Kuramoto is looking to close the distance.  Kodama sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuramoto is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kodama pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kodama connects with a left hook.  Kodama tries to land a left hook, but Kuramoto sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Kodama is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Kuramoto is on target with a right uppercut.  Kuramoto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kodama blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kodama advances into close range.  Kodama wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kuramoto dabs at his face checking for damage.
