Mikio Kubota vs Kamran Burki

Boxing Daily Report from the Panyin Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 28/06/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Kubota (5 - 14(1) - 3) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Kamran Burki(24 - 0) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Kubota and Burki weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Baba, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Shimabukuro, Hisao Sone and Fumio Hara.  

Round 1: 

Burki leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kubota accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Burki.
