Elias Pozo vs Vegas Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Asante Promotions promoted show at Rodrigo Gutierez Gym, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Pozo (15 - 4 - 2) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Vegas Ruano(19 - 16 - 4) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Pozo weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces, while Ruano weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Barrio, and the three ringside judges are Cris Coito, Xabat Badillo and Lisandro Castellanos.  

Round 1: 

Pozo steps inside.  Pozo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Ruano digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ruano gets on the inside.  Pozo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pozo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Pozo closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Ruano sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pozo's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Round 3: 

As Pozo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ruano.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Pozo steps inside and digs in a right uppercut to Ruano's body.  
Ruano hits home with a left hook.  
Pozo advances into close range.  Ruano drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Ruano wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pozo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ruano pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Pozo advances into close range.  Ruano sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pozo tries to land a left hook, but Ruano sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Ruano's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
