Xaverius Merino vs Marco Sigala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Santander promoted show at Colombia-Santander Gym, Bucaramanga,  taking place on 25/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Santander Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaverius Merino (21 - 13(2) - 4) who hails from Bucaramanga, Colombia and Marco Sigala(11 - 7 - 3) from Bucaramanga, Colombia.  Merino weighed in at 200 pounds and 13 ounces, while Sigala weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Merino came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jose Alcala, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Galan, Xalvador Montoro and Vidal Aro.
