Nestori Puikkonen vs Touko Vihavainen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Southwest Finland promoted show at Vili Koppala Gym, Turku,  taking place on 21/06/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Southwest Finland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nestori Puikkonen (11 - 10 - 6) who hails from Turku, Finland and Touko Vihavainen(1 - 6) from Turku, Finland.  Both Puikkonen and Vihavainen weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jyrki Ramanen, and the three ringside judges are Jyri Laurila, Aake Kononen and Daavid Makinen.  

Round 1: 

Vihavainen lands a jab.  
Vihavainen throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Puikkonen lands a cross.  
Puikkonen tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Vihavainen advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Puikkonen in the corner.  Vihavainen pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Vihavainen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Vihavainen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Puikkonen throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Vihavainen advances into close range.  Vihavainen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Vihavainen attempts to land a right hook, but Puikkonen dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Vihavainen's body.  
Vihavainen pivots to the side of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Puikkonen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Vihavainen closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Puikkonen dabs at his face checking for damage.  Puikkonen has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Puikkonen steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Puikkonen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Vihavainen's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
