Ben Kombich vs Phil Marangu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Ibrahim Arafat Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 20/06/2034:

Clearly AI Kenya-Kisumu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Kombich (2 - 6 - 7) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Phil Marangu(7 - 7 - 8) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Kombich weighed in at 126 pounds, while Marangu weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Kirui, and the three ringside judges are Alen Mwamzandi, Mark Lavatsa and Kendis Rimbui.  

Round 1: 

Marangu steps inside and is on target with a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Marangu dabs at his face checking for damage.  Marangu has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
