John Wight vs Liberatore Ceci

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Oakland�Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland,  taking place on 02/08/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Southern John Wight (31(20) - 1 - 2) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Liberatore Ceci(26(9) - 7(7)) from Albany, USA.  Both Wight and Ceci weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Annand, and the three ringside judges are Barry Sabado, Zafa Rafiq and Brin Howden.  

Round 1: 

Wight is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Wight attempts to land an overhand right, but Ceci parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wight steps to the outside and lands a stinging cross.  
Wight lands with a solid jab.  
Wight steps to the outside and lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Wight lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Ceci steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Wight is on target with a left hook.

Ceci manages to force Wight onto the ropes.  Ceci lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Ceci digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Ceci drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Ceci tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Wight switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wight's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ceci's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Round 2: 

Wight switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Wight lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceci quickly recovers. 
Ceci sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Wight's ribcage.  
Ceci hits home with a left hook.  
Ceci manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ceci dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ceci is on target with a right hook.  
Ceci lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wight tries to keep the action at long range and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  Wight throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ceci gets on the inside.  Wight pivots from in front of his opponent and DETONATES a HUGE left hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE CECI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Wight switches the action to the outside.  Wight senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ceci and just needs the right shot.  Wight lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING CECI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Ceci has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Wight lands a cross.  
Ceci steps inside.  Wight is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Wight steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ceci walks Wight down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ceci throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Wight tries to keep the action at long range and EXPLODES a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  CECI IS HURT!  Ceci almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Wight lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Wight DETONATES a spiteful overhand right on his opponents face.  CECI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Wight is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ceci advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wight tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ceci is on target with a stinging jab.  Ceci throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wight is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Ceci throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wight is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a stinging cross.  
Wight lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Wight is on target with an overhand left.  
Wight lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wight lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wight lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES CECI!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Wight!
