Mel Elliot vs Dai Sands

Boxing Daily Report from the CP Boxing promoted show at Georgetown Boyter, Georgetown,  taking place on 14/06/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guyana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mel Elliot (17(1) - 8(4) - 3) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Dai Sands(9 - 5) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  Both Elliot and Sands weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Hanlin, and the three ringside judges are Robert Blackstock, Kris Manderson and Mel Sutherlin.
