Jack Weston vs Leggett Herard

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Videotron Centre, Quebec City,  taking place on 24/06/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SkyPerfec, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Weston (17 - 16(2) - 5) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Leggett Herard(19 - 1 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Weston weighed in at 168 pounds, while Herard weighed in at 167 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Erec Adore and Destin Dauphin.  

Round 1: 

Herard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Herard tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Herard is on target with a left hook.  
Weston advances into close range.  Herard sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Herard lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Herard holds on to his opponent.  Herard is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Herard.  
Herard feints a left, and then lands a cross.  
Herard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Herard closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Herard pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Herard lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Herard steps inside.  Herard pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Weston dabs at his face checking for damage.
