Aaron Fairley vs Blake Laidley

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at The Grizzly Rose, Denver,  taking place on 07/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Fairley (21(15) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Pueblo, USA and Blake Laidley(12 - 25 - 6) from Greeley, USA.  Both Fairley and Laidley weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Peavey, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Davie, Kyle Melrose and John Adee.  

Round 1:

Fairley tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Laidley's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Laidley's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Fairley wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Laidley has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
