Ponce Abrantes vs Noe Casal

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Malvolio Mantilla Gym, Ciudad Bolivar,  taking place on 07/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Bolivar Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Abrantes (8 - 8 - 3) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Noe Casal(3 - 2 - 1) from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela.  Abrantes weighed in at 115 pounds, while Casal weighed in at 114 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Loredo Chirinos, and the three ringside judges are Angel Malagon, Diego Lince and Selestino Borrego.  

Round 1: 

Abrantes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Casal throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Abrantes's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
