Salim Chepngeno vs Ian Mwamzandi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Bahri, Nairobi,  taking place on 04/06/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Salim Chepngeno (6 - 5 - 6) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ian Mwamzandi(12 - 9(3) - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Chepngeno weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mwamzandi weighed in at 200 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Mwamzandi came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Billy Tumbo, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Stuart Lone and Paul Changeywo.  

Round 1: 

Mwamzandi is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chepngeno closes the distance.  Chepngeno quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Mwamzandi steps inside and lands a left uppercut.
