Arthur Thomas vs Isaac Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the Harvey Parker promoted show at Vincent Lawgoch Gym, Leeds,  taking place on 30/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Northern England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arthur Thomas (20 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Bradford, UK and Isaac Connolly(9 - 18(1) - 7) from Hull, UK.  Thomas weighed in at 140 pounds, while Connolly weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mervyn Cour, and the three ringside judges are Ken McRoberts, Chris Llywelyn and Alex Bean.  

Round 1: 

Thomas gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  Thomas tries to land a right hook, but Connolly blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
