Boris Kurbanov vs Kolya Faradjev

Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Yoshlik Kamolot Stadium, Toshkent,  taking place on 24/06/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boris Kurbanov (9(6) - 0) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Kolya Faradjev(9 - 14 - 3) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Kurbanov weighed in at 140 pounds, while Faradjev weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Boris Rafiev, and the three ringside judges are Melor Baighanoff, Isaak Akbarov and Nikolai Abildaeff.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kurbanov.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Kurbanov manages to force Faradjev onto the ropes.  Kurbanov pivots to the left of his opponent.  Faradjev throws a left hook, but Kurbanov ties up his opponent.  Kurbanov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Kurbanov walks his opponent into the corner.  Kurbanov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kurbanov lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Kurbanov ties up his opponent.  Kurbanov tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Faradjev behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kurbanov EXPLODES a FEARSOME right hook into his opponents face.  FARADJEV IS HURT!  Faradjev recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kurbanov sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Faradjev throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kurbanov ties up his opponent.  Kurbanov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kurbanov lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Faradjev almost instantly gets his legs back.

Kurbanov lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kurbanov is on target with a solid right hook.  
Kurbanov closes the distance.  Kurbanov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Kurbanov digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Faradjev tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kurbanov lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kurbanov is on target with a stinging cross.  
Kurbanov pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Faradjev's body.  
Kurbanov steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS FARADJEV SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Kurbanov is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Faradjev almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Faradjev switches the action to the outside.  Kurbanov lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Faradjev's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Faradjev's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Faradjev's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Faradjev throws a right hook, but Kurbanov clinches his opponent.  Kurbanov is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kurbanov to stop holding.  
Kurbanov hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Kurbanov lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kurbanov is on target with a powerful right hook.  FARADJEV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Kurbanov is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Kurbanov DETONATES a FIERCE left uppercut on his opponents face.  FARADJEV IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Faradjev now seems to have got his legs back.  
Kurbanov lands a VICIOUS right hook.  FARADJEV IS HURT!  
Kurbanov senses Faradjev is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Kurbanov lands a HUGE left hook.  FARADJEV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Kurbanov!
