Thomas Apers vs Pollux Van Goey

Boxing Daily Report from the Abdulyan Promotions promoted show at The Hague Witkin, The Hague,  taking place on 29/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-South Holland Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thomas Apers (24 - 7 - 1) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Pollux Van Goey(18 - 15(3) - 4) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Apers weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Van Goey weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maeterle Geert, and the three ringside judges are Eddie Mane, Claudy Van de Dicke and Wissel Van der Visscherye.  

Round 1: 

Apers digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Apers pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Apers is on target with a right hook.  Apers holds on to his opponent.  Apers leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Apers finds the target with a jab.  
Van Goey throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Apers steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  Apers holds on to his opponent.  Apers is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Apers is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
Apers is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Apers advances into close range.  Apers pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Apers closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Apers ties up his opponent.  Apers pushes his forearm into Van Goey's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Apers.  
Apers is on target with a left uppercut to Van Goey's ribs.  
Apers lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Van Goey's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Van Goey's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Apers steps inside.  Apers wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
