Azam Samad vs Aftab Shaban

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkhwazi Promotions promoted show at Shah Alam Farha, Shah Alam,  taking place on 31/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Samad (16 - 9(1) - 5) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Aftab Shaban(13 - 12(2) - 4) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Both Samad and Shaban weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Faris, and the three ringside judges are Haider Ishmael, Sajid Bari and Rashid Bhutto.  

Round 1: 

Samad pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Samad tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Samad gets on the inside.  Shaban hits home with a left hook.

Samad quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Samad dabs at his face checking for damage.
