Cuba Sotomayor vs Juan Placencia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Cura, Ecatepec,  taking place on 28/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cuba Sotomayor (7 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Chimalhuacan, Mexico and Juan Placencia(9 - 14(1) - 5) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Sotomayor and Placencia weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Montana, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Camargo, Ryo Adame and Emanuel Macario.

Placencia tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sotomayor lands a jab.

Sotomayor has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
