Takeshi Okuma vs Shinji Ishibashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan’s Boxing promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 26/05/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Takeshi Okuma (22 - 16 - 4) who hails from Okazaki, Japan and Shinji Ishibashi(3 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Okuma and Ishibashi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Mochizuki, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Yoshikawa, Yuji Shiroma and Mikio Yasuda.  

Round 1: 

Ishibashi tries to keep the action at long range.  Okuma is on target with an overhand right.  
Ishibashi tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Okuma forces Ishibashi to retreat into a corner.  Okuma throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Ishibashi time to recover.
