Venacio Astorga vs Killian Driscoll

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 28/05/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Astorga (2 - 0) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Killian Driscoll(3 - 4(1) - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Astorga and Driscoll weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacKenna, and the three ringside judges are Leon McPeters, Clinton MacAdam and Lee Beirne.  

Round 1: 

Astorga lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Astorga connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Astorga holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Astorga pushes his forearm into Driscoll's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Astorga about fouling.  
Astorga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Astorga lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Astorga forces Driscoll to back into the ropes.  Driscoll tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Astorga lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Astorga ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Astorga lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Astorga ties up his opponent.  Astorga is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Astorga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Astorga lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Astorga digs in a left hook to Driscoll's liver.  
Astorga is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Driscoll quickly recovers.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Driscoll's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Driscoll's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Driscoll steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Astorga accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Driscoll.  Astorga is on target with a right hook to Driscoll's ribs.  
Astorga gets on the inside.  Astorga quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Astorga drives a right hook into Driscoll's body.  Astorga holds on to his opponent.  Astorga is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Astorga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
