Jamie Carlyle vs Diego Mandes

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at TD Gardens, Boston,  taking place on 02/06/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jamie Carlyle (29(3) - 5(4) - 1) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Diego Mandes(34(29) - 3(2)) from Bilbao, Spain.  Carlyle weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mandes weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyle Ormiston, and the three ringside judges are Ian Sproule, Dave Greenan and Oliver McCleese.  

Round 1: 

Mandes lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Carlyle dabs at his face checking for damage.
