Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Santander promoted show at Iago Casto Gym, Floridablanca,  taking place on 21/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Santander Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Gonzalez (2 - 2 - 1) who hails from Bucaramanga, Colombia and Hernan Coronel(8(5) - 0) from Floridablanca, Colombia.  Both Gonzalez and Coronel weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Montoro, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Roble, Enzo Baile and Manuel Vicente.  

Round 1: 

Gonzalez tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Coronel advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Coronel ties up his opponent.  Gonzalez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Gonzalez pushes his forearm into Coronel's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gonzalez steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Coronel steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Coronel steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Coronel ties up his opponent.  Coronel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Coronel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gonzalez behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Coronel.  
Coronel walks Gonzalez onto the ropes.  Coronel is on target with a left hook.  
Coronel closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Coronel advances into close range and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Coronel hits home with a solid right hook.  
Coronel steps inside.  Coronel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Coronel drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Coronel clinches his opponent.  Gonzalez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gonzalez pushes his forearm into Coronel's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Coronel steps away from his opponent.  Gonzalez lands an overhand left.  
Coronel closes the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Coronel lands a ramrod jab.  
Coronel closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coronel advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Coronel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Coronel lands a firm right hook.  Coronel holds on to his opponent.  Coronel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Coronel pushes his forearm into Gonzalez's face.  The ref breaks Coronel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Coronel attempts to land a right hook, but Gonzalez blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gonzalez's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Gonzalez's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Coronel closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES GONZALEZ!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Coronel holds on to his opponent.  Coronel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gonzalez uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Coronel's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gonzalez to stop fouling.  Gonzalez recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Coronel steps inside and slams a big left hook into Gonzalez's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GONZALEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Gonzalez quickly recovers.

Coronel manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Coronel throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Coronel clinches his opponent.  Coronel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Coronel walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Coronel hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Coronel advances into close range.  Coronel pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gonzalez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Coronel whips in a big right hook to Gonzalez's body.  GONZALEZ IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.
