Michael Owen vs Rhys Couch

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Brangwyn Hall, Swansea,  taking place on 04/06/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Owen (3 - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Rhys Couch(4 - 8(1)) from Swansea, UK.  Both Owen and Couch weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Birney, Edwyn Brodie and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Owen manages to force Couch onto the ropes.  Owen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Owen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Owen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Owen throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Owen's ribcage.

Owen forces Couch to retreat into the corner.  As Owen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Couch dabs at his face checking for damage.

Owen pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into Couch's body.
