Hyun-soo Seo vs John McNelly

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Geelong Arena, Geelong,  taking place on 29/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hyun-soo Seo (21(16) - 0) who hails from Jeonju, South Korea and John McNelly(9(3) - 8(3)) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Seo weighed in at 115 pounds, while McNelly weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Lawrie, and the three ringside judges are Alastair MacIntyre, Mark McBride and Arran Ritchey.  

Round 1: 

McNelly advances into close range.  Seo lands a left hook.  
Seo lands a double left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING MCNELLY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  McNelly recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Seo is on target with a stinging cross.  
McNelly gets on the inside.  Seo hits home with a left hook.  
Seo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Seo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McNelly gets on the inside and forces Seo to back into a corner.  Seo is on target with a left hook to McNelly's liver.  
McNelly drives a right hook into his opponents body.  McNelly throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Seo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a hard jab.  
McNelly steps inside.  Seo drives a firm right hook into McNelly's body.  
Seo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
McNelly closes the distance.  Seo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Seo steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
McNelly lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McNelly is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Seo's body.  
McNelly digs in a right hook to Seo's ribcage.  
Seo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right.  
McNelly closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Seo on the ropes.  Seo connects with a spiteful left hook.  MCNELLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Seo is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Seo lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MCNELLY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  McNelly now seems to have his senses back.

Seo drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Seo is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid jab.  Seo throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Seo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Seo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Seo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McNelly's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

McNelly throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McNelly closes the distance.  Seo is on target with a nasty right hook.  MCNELLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Seo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McNelly pushes his forearm into Seo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McNelly about fouling.  McNelly quickly recovers. 
Seo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
McNelly throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Seo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
McNelly advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Seo ties up his opponent.  McNelly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Seo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Seo steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Seo steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
McNelly steps inside and forces Seo to retreat onto the ropes.  Seo SLAMS a VICIOUS left hook into his opponents face.  MCNELLY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McNelly quickly recovers. 
Seo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Seo is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Seo is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Seo hits the target with a stiff jab.  
McNelly closes the distance.  Seo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McNelly forces Seo to retreat onto the ropes.  McNelly connects with a right uppercut.  
McNelly lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Seo is looking to keep his distance and EXPLODES a BRUTAL overhand right into his opponents face.  MCNELLY IS HURT!  
Seo is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Seo SLAMS a CRUSHING right uppercut into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES MCNELLY!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  It looks like McNelly has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Seo lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
McNelly steps inside.  Seo hits home with a left hook.  Seo attempts to land a left hook, but McNelly sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McNelly throws a right uppercut, but Seo ties up his opponent.  McNelly pushes his forearm into Seo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McNelly to stop fouling.  
Seo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McNelly almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McNelly's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  McNelly's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
