Xaver Ballon vs Venacio Maya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo promoted show at Santo Domingo Norte Casado, Santo Domingo Norte,  taking place on 17/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Ballon (13 - 6 - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Venacio Maya(17(2) - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Ballon weighed in at 245 pounds and 2 ounces, while Maya weighed in at 237 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Manco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Ruedas, Carlos Ruedas and Carlos Acosta.
