Canon Verne vs Severin Cohen

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Salle Métropole, Lausanne,  taking place on 06/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Switzerland-West Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Canon Verne (22 - 7(3) - 3) who hails from Geneva, Switzerland and Severin Cohen(15(1) - 7 - 1) from Lausanne, Switzerland.  Both Verne and Cohen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Flannery Ferro, and the three ringside judges are Frasier Candeloro, Charles Ethier and Vachel Gary.  

Round 1: 

Verne is looking to keep his distance.  Verne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
