Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 02/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lado Ballantyne (1 - 11 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Laken Mpeta(3 - 4 - 3) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Ballantyne weighed in at 115 pounds, while Mpeta weighed in at 114 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Phumelele Mkhize, and the three ringside judges are Quaashie Duncan, Mzikayise Tlolane and Ubanwa Koranteng.
