Kian Kemei vs James Echesa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Nakuru Cheserem, Nakuru,  taking place on 30/04/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nakuru Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Kemei (9(5) - 1) who hails from Naivasha, Kenya and James Echesa(9 - 21 - 4) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Kemei weighed in at 147 pounds, while Echesa weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Beauttah, and the three ringside judges are Jay Butita, David Beauttah and Kwamin Shaheen.  

Round 1: 

Kemei closes the distance.  Echesa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kemei throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
