Ricardo Mendivil vs Vicente Gomez

Boxing Daily Report from the Kajoba Promotions promoted show at Juan Morgado Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 29/04/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Mendivil (14 - 8(2) - 6) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Vicente Gomez(6 - 15) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Mendivil weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gomez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Cassillas, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Danon, Vegas Lechuga and Santiago Lama.

As Mendivil tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gomez dabs at his face checking for damage.  Gomez has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
