Taro Seki vs Jiro Morimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 25/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taro Seki (16 - 13 - 1) who hails from Okazaki, Japan and Jiro Morimoto(7(3) - 1) from Toyota, Japan.  Both Seki and Morimoto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Shiroma, and the three ringside judges are Nao Sugiyama, Raiden Sando and Satoshi Mochizuki.  

Round 1: 

Seki throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Morimoto advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Morimoto is looking to close the distance and walks Seki down, trapping him on the ropes.  Morimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Seki throws a left hook, but Morimoto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Morimoto pushes his forearm into Seki's face.  The referee warns Morimoto and breaks the clinch.  
Morimoto lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Seki wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Morimoto has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Seki now.    He throws a hook, and catches Morimoto low!  The ref takes no action over the foul, despite complaints from Morimoto.  
Seki is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Seki pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Morimoto steps inside.  Frustration is starting to boil over for Seki now.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Morimoto's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends Morimoto to the neutral corner.    He warns Seki that he is heading for a point deduction.  
Morimoto lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Morimoto gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Seki has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
