Jose Sabino vs Neper Palomares

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Temple University McGonigle Hall, Philadelphia,  taking place on 30/04/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Sabino (26(16) - 5(1)) who hails from Santa Clara, Cuba and Neper Palomares(35(2) - 11(7) - 4) from Cebu City, Philippines.  Sabino weighed in at 121 pounds and 6 ounces, while Palomares weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Beall, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Cummins, Mark Munro and Colin Blood.  

Round 1: 

Palomares closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Palomares manages to force Sabino onto the ropes.  Palomares sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.

Sabino is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Palomares attempts to land a jab, but Sabino slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Palomares closes the distance.  Palomares quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Palomares attempts to land a left hook, but Sabino blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Sabino switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Sabino tries to land a jab, but Palomares dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Palomares lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Palomares lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Sabino switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Sabino lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Palomares lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Palomares drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Sabino tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp overhand right.

Palomares gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Palomares is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Sabino ties up his opponent.  Palomares pushes his forearm into Sabino's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Palomares to stop fouling.  
Sabino sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sabino steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Palomares gets on the inside.  Sabino sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Palomares drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Palomares walks Sabino down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sabino throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Sabino holds on to his opponent.  Sabino pushes his forearm into Palomares's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sabino about fouling.  
Palomares lands a left hook.  
Palomares lands a right hook.

Palomares steps inside.  Sabino pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Sabino is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  Sabino attempts to land a cross, but Palomares sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sabino lands a cross.  
Sabino lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Sabino switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Palomares closes the distance.  Sabino lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Sabino steps away from his opponent.  Some sustained pressure from Sabino could be enough to finish Palomares!  Sabino lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING PALOMARES TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Palomares now seems to have got his legs back.  
Palomares walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Palomares is on target with a cross.  
Palomares lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Palomares tries to land a left hook, but Sabino slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Sabino switches the action to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Sabino lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sabino lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Sabino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Palomares cuts off the ring, trapping Sabino in a neutral corner.  Palomares lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Palomares feints a jab, but Sabino does not fall for it and lands with a cross.  
Palomares is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Sabino connects with a big right hook.  PALOMARES IS HURT!  Palomares almost instantly gets his legs back.

Sabino senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Palomares and just needs the right shot.  Sabino lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS PALOMARES!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Sabino!
