Diego Gimenez vs Kiki Malon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Mancebo, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 25/04/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Gimenez (15 - 15(2) - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Kiki Malon(9(6) - 1(1)) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Gimenez weighed in at 108 pounds, while Malon weighed in at 107 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ribas, and the three ringside judges are Diego Torno, Hernan Orosco and Diego Ribas.  

Round 1: 

Malon advances into close range and drives a solid right hook into Gimenez's body.

Malon is looking to close the distance and walks Gimenez down, trapping him in the red corner.  Malon lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Gimenez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gimenez tries to land a jab, but Malon blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Gimenez's liver.  
Malon lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS GIMENEZ DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Gimenez quickly recovers. 
Malon steps inside and connects with a left hook.
