Rhys Weale vs Chris Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Super Box Management promoted show at City Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 19/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rhys Weale (8(3) - 0) who hails from Oxford, UK and Chris Hughes(10 - 8(1) - 4) from Swindon, UK.  Both Weale and Hughes weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James McAfee, and the three ringside judges are Josh Brannon, Duncan McRay and Rory Mulrennan.  

Round 1: 

Weale steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Weale lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.

Weale manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Hughes is on target with a cross to Weale's body.  Hughes attempts to land a jab, but Weale blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.

Weale manages to force Hughes into the red corner.  Weale digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Weale has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Hughes sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Weale lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Weale is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hughes throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
